SMF News: The importance of good news

WHAT’S NEW(S) STELLENBOSCH?
The bi-weekly SMF News newsletter, delivering the most important Stellenbosch news, straight to your inbox.
FROM THE EDITOR’S DESKIn a country where we are constantly bombarded with bad news, I think it is important to take a step back and look at some of the amazing things South Africans are doing. Every day, we see incredible stories of South Africans who are going above and beyond (or slaying, as we like to say in our department). I think there can be immense value to engaging with these stories and seeing some of the good in the world that we live in. So, with our first newsletter produced by the class of 2023, I thought that we could kick things off by showcasing some of these positive stories that are emerging on our doorstep. | ![]() Daniel Roodt, SMF News editor-in-chief |
